Bridgedale’s Christmas Spirit
Bridgedale socks have made a difference in the Exeter area to 30 homeless and vulnerably housed people, who will have drier and warmer feet over the winter period!
Our student group, Project Habitat, recently purchased a large quantity of walking socks discounted by Bridgedale for homeless and vulnerably housed people in Exeter.
Steve Fowler quickly replied to my email saying that our
cause sounded very worthwhile, especially with winter approaching, and that Bridgedale would love to help!
After further correspondence the socks were quickly ordered
and arrived at the charity St. Petrock’s, an Exeter based charity who provide
assistance to the homeless and vulnerably housed, just under a fortnight ago.
St. Petrock’s were very grateful as socks are really in demand as it becomes wetter and colder in the winter months. The charity passed on their sincerest thanks to everyone who took part in the fundraising and organisation of the purchase!
Heaps of thanks to Bridgedale :)!
